Setting up Webfolders on Windows 7 is a breeze when compared to Windows Vista. The attached video shows how to set things up in about 2 and 1/2 minutes. If you prefer written instructions those are available here.
If you run into anything unusual when setting up Webfolders please leave a comment for us.

Many thanks for this as I’ve had a lot of trouble getting webfolders to work for our school in Vista (after a long run of no problems with XP).
But this worked fine on Windows 7.
I am having problems installing a webfolder.
When I type the address with windows 7 I get an error.
The folder you entered does not appear to be valid. Please choose another.
I know the server is there I connect to the server by mapping a new network drive. I cannot add a network location though.
Is there any chance it’s an SSL issue? If so try https:// instead of http://
Hi I am unable to use this method or the method of mapping a drive for a webEx site that I need to be able to drag and drop files to. I used to be able to do this under my network places in WInXP. The website is ASPX.
Hi Chris – If you are referring to Cisco’s WebEX product, a review of their product technology documentation (http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps10352/technology.html) shows no mention of WebDAV support. Are you certain that WebDAV is supported? If so you may need to contact them to find out what to do.
how do you delete one?
Pop
You can rightclick/delete a web folder “network place”. What you are really doing it deleting a shortcut.
